The Aman Gati Hotel at Balangan Beach is ideally located on the cliff overlooking the beach and surf at Balangan Beach, which can easily be viewed from the balcony of the restaurant. A couple of minutes walk brings you to one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali, with good surf, great food at the beach Warungs, surf schools, and a great lagoon for swimming. The hotel is relaxed and comfortable, has a great swimming pool, beautiful gardens, and 12 bungalows. The pool was only 12 steps from my room. The room itself was comfortable, spacious, and modern. Nice hot water in the bathroom, although the water pressure is lacking (as it seems to be at most balanese accomodation). My only negative thing about this hotel is that the restaurant is only open for breakfast, and the breakfast is a very average standard. But this doesn't matter because there are heaps of great restaurants surrounding this hotel, and you can get great food at a cheap price close by, my favourite being Maria Cafe Warung on the beach. All in all I enjoyed my time at the Aman Gati Hotel in Balangan Beach and will stay there again next time I'm in Bali.
